The mission of Alabama State University Sports Medicine Department is to provide the highest quality medical care available to our student athletes on a daily basis.

The ASU Sports Medicine department’s purpose is to care for the medical needs of the student athlete, physically, psychologically, and socially. We are here to provide easy access to medical care, encourage health and wellness, enable injured student athletes to return to playing their sport as soon as medically possible, and prevent and reduce the overall risk of athletic injury to the student athlete.
