2021 (Senior): Gaither, a Brookwood, Alabama native, played in 43 games in 2021 for the Hornets, including 38 starts. The shortstop batted .200 and had a .550 on base percentage in 100 at-bats, along with recording 20 hits, 19 runs, 13 RBIs, seven doubles and a home run last season. In the field, she maintained a .913 fielding percentage with 65 putouts and 61 assists in 138 chances.

2020 (Junior): Played in 23 games, starting 19 before the season was cut short… Finished the season hitting .220 with 11 hits in 50 official at-bats… Scored six runs and drove in six others… Recorded three doubles… Finished with a .280 slugging percentage and a .333 on-base percentage… Recorded three stolen bases (in three attempts).

at Previous School (Marion Military Institute): Named Alabama Community College Conference All-North Division and NJCAA Region 22 All-Region… Batted at a .346 clip with 10 homers and 52 RBIs… Slashed .346/.414/.574 in 60 games... As a freshman, led the team in most batting categories her freshman year… Had the highest batting average with a .346, most hits with 66, most homers with 15 and drove home a team-best 45 runs… Was named first team Alabama Community College Conference All-North and NJCAA All-Region.
 
High School: Lettered four years at Brookwood High School, not to mention two years as a team captain… Two-time Area Champions and Four-time City County Champion… All-State team Honorable Mention in 2016… Also played 3 seasons of basketball and 2 seasons of volleyball… Broke the school record in basketball by scoring 500 points during senior year… Member of the National Honor Society, the Technical Honor Society and the Beta Club.
 
Personal: Daughter of Jennifer and William Gaither… Has four siblings- Jennifer, Ashley, Cody and Cameron… Majoring in interdisciplinary studies with a minor in psychology and history.
