Whitney Davis (formerly Whitney Walker), a Montgomery, Alabama native, is entering her ninth year as Assistant Cheerleading Coach at Alabama State University. A lifelong advocate for excellence in both academics and athletics,
Whitney brings over sixteen years of cheerleading experience across the high school, collegiate, and All-Star competitive levels. She has also served as a mentor, clinic coordinator, and judge within the cheerleading community.
Before transitioning into cheerleading, Whitney was a competitive gymnast at the Armory Gymnastics Center, where she claimed the Level V State Champion title in 2006.
A proud graduate of Lee High School in Montgomery, she was the class Valedictorian in 2012. Whitney earned her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016. She went on to receive a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education from the esteemed Alabama State University in 2018, followed by an Education Specialist degree from The University of West Alabama in 2021.
Formerly a high school mathematics educator of five years, Whitney now works full-time as a Quality Training Specialist for the federal government. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and the Junior League of Montgomery.
