Biography

2016-17: Averaged 20 points, eight rebounds and one steal per contest to be named SWAC Player of the Week (11/17/16)....SWAC Preseason Player of the Year...SWAC Preseason All-SWAC First Team selection.

2014-15 (GP/GS: 30/28):  As a sophomore for the Lady Hornets, Wright was selected to the First Team All-SWAC and named SWAC Tournament MVP. The SWAC Tournament MVP played in 30 games and had 28 starts…she averaged 16.7 points per game…averaged 7.4 rebounds per game...scored a season high of 32 points against Ark. Pine Bluff (02/07/15)…and had a season high of 14 rebounds against Grambling State (3/12/15).

2013-2014 (GP/GS: 30/27):  Wright proved to be one of the best forwards since the 2010-2011 season…playing in all 30 games as a freshman…averaged 26.6 minutes per game…averaged 9.3 points (the second best on the team)...averaged 6.3 rebounds (second best on the team)…scored a career high of 21 points against SWAC foe Ark. Pine-Bluff(1/13/14)…grabbed 12 boards against Georgia Tech in the first round of the Georgia Tech Invitational.
