Biography

Phillip transfers to Alabama State after an honor-filled career at Pearl River Community College…He was named All-Region 23 and All-MACJC First team following both his freshman and sophomore campaigns…He was a two-year starter averaging 19 points and nine rebounds per game over his career…He shot 60 percent from the field and 69 percent at the free throw line…He led PRCC to a 47-10 overall record during his two seasons and an MACJC State Championship following the 2009-10 season with a 24-5 record…PRCC finished the 2010-11 season with a 23-5 record and were runners-up in the state…Crawford will have the opportunity to work at a forward position.
