at Alabama State: During the 2021 outdoor season, ran a time of 1:54.00 in the 800-meters at the Al Schmidt Invitational… Ran a time of 1:53.41 at the Auburn Tiger Track Classic in the 800-meters, and a time of 3:15.17 as a member of the 4x400-meter relay team… During the SWAC Outdoor Championships, ran a time of 1:55.19 in the 800-meters and the Distance Medley Relay helped the team to a time of 10:17.02… During the 2021 indoor season, ran a time of 1:21.88 in the 600-meters at the UAB Blazer Invitational… Ran a time of 1:58.49 in the 800-meters at the KMS Open… Also ran a time of 1:55.75 in the 800-meters at the Jaguar Invitational, as well as 3:20.54 as a part of the 4x400-meter relay team… Ran a time of 1:55.19 in the 800-meters at the SWAC Indoor Championships, while also being a part of the Distance Medley Team that ran a time of 10:17.02.

at Previous School (UMES): During sophomore outdoor season, part of the winning 4x400 relay team at the MEAC Track & Field Championships... Earned First-Team All-MEAC honors... Earned MEAC All-Academic honors for the season... Made MEAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team for the year... Fourth in the 800 at the Cappy Anderson Invitational... Part of the third-place 4x400 team at the HBCU Invitational... Third in the 800 at the Liberty Flames Invitational... Part if DMR team that won at the Eastern Shore Multies & Combined... Part of 4x400 relay team that finished third at the South Carolina Invitational... Fourth in the 800 at the MEAC Indoor Championships... Part of 4x400 squad that was eighth at the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Championships... During indoor sophomore season, made MEAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team for the year... During freshman outdoor season, part of winning 4x400 relay team at Eastern Shore Challenge... Was on team that won a section of the Sprint Medal Relay at the Penn Relays... Part of second-place 4x400 relay team at IC4A/ECAC Championship... During indoor freshman season, finished fourth in the 800M at the Cappy Anderson Invitational... During cross country in freshman season, named team's Rookie of the year at the Harry's Awards ... 

High School: Participated in track & field at the Wolmers Boys School… Earned a victory in the Class 2 Corporate Area Development Meet in 2016… Helped his squad earn a fourth place finish in the 4x800 at the Penn Relays… Was an honor roll student at both Wolmers and his prior school, Jamaica College… Recipient of Excellence in Form 1H for Mathematics in 2012.

Personal:  Son of Indra Copes… Has two sisters, Chrissana and Crissanti… Majoring in Business.
