Biography
at Previous School (UConn): During sophomore season (2019-20), posted a new PR in the 60 meter dash at the BU Valentine Invitational, winning for the second time in his career and posting a time of 6.76 seconds… Had five top-three finishes during the indoor season… Opened the year setting a new PR in the 200 meters at the BU Season Opener, clocking in at 21.61 seconds to finish second… Ran third in the 60 meters at the BU opener, at 6.86 seconds… Won for the first time in his collegiate career at the URI Sorlien Invitational, besting the field at 6.94 seconds… Earned All-New England honors with a third place finish in the 60 meter dash at 6.86 seconds, and also scored in the 200 meters with a fourth place finish… Was a scorer for the Huskies at the AAC Championship in both the 60 meter dash with a fifth place finish (6.81) and the 200 meters taking eighth (21.82)… During freshman season (2018-19), in indoor, had his fastest time of the season in the 60 meter dash at the AAC Championship, clocking a 6.86 seconds in the prelims… Took home a bronze at the New England Championship in the 60 meter dash, finishing third with a time of 6.95 seconds… Scored for the Huskies in the 60 meter dash at the IC4A Championship taking fifth with a time of 6.94 seconds… Ran his top 200 meter time of 21.85 seconds at the BU Valentine Invitational… Grabbed a fourth place finish in the 60 meters at the Beantown Challenge with a 6.97 second clocking… During the outdoor season, earned a bronze medal at the AAC Outdoor Championship as part of UConn’s 4x100 relay team, where they took third in 40.62 seconds… Set a new PR in the 100 meters at the UConn Northeast Challenge, where he took second place with a clocking of 10.58 seconds… Had his best 200 meter time at the Huskies’ home meet as well, posting a time of 22.21 seconds, finishing second… Took second place in the 200 meters at the Spec Towns Invitational at 22.21 seconds… Part of third place finishing 4x100 team at the Larry Ellis Invitational at 42.21 seconds.
High School: Lettered in track and field at Rush Henrietta… Three-time All-Greater Rochester selection… 11-time All-County… Four-time national qualifier… multiple time county and sectional champion, as well as state finalist… Business honor society… Black Scholar… Student of the month.
