2021 (Junior): Massie, a two-time All-SWAC Second Team selection, batted .284 at the plate in 43 games on 116 at bats... The first baseman earned 33 hits including five doubles, along with 14 RBI and nine runs scored... She also performed well on the defensive end, earning 167 putouts and 20 assists for a .979 fielding percentage, good for fourth on the Hornet roster... Recorded hit in 22 games on the season… Earned a season-high four hits against Alabama A&M and multiple hits in nine games… Scored a run in seven games on the year including two runs on the road against Southern and against rival Alabama A&M.
2020 (Sophomore): Named Preseason Second Team All-SWAC... Played and started 25 games before the season was cut short… Hit .239 with 16 hits in 67 at-bats… Finished the season with a double and six runs batted in… Scored 11 runs… Finished the season with a .254 slugging percentage and a .301 on-base percentage.
2019 (Freshman): Helped lead the Lady Hornets to a 2019 SWAC Championship and make an appearance in the 2019 NCAA Division I Regionals… Made 35 starts and played in 41 games… Batted at a .314 clip on the season with 33 hits, 15 runs scored and 17 RBIs
High School: Played four seasons at Pottsboro High School in Texas, including one year as a captain… Batted .560 her senior year and struck out five times in her high school career... Two-time All-State honorable mention selection and three-time All-Texomaland Softball Team… Named All-Around Player of the Year 2018… Also lettered two years in volleyball and basketball and one year in track.
