Telma O'Neal Hall

Telma O’Neal Hall brings six years of coaching experience into her seventh season as head softball coach at Alabama State University.

Hall began her coaching career at Alcorn State University, where she led the team to a 19-19 record, earning the Lady Braves their first SWAC tournament appearance.  Last season, the Lady Hornets had two members receive academic honors (3.5 plus grade point average) from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).

Hall is a 2003 graduate of Alabama State University, earning a degree in physical education.  In December 2007, she graduated from the NCAA Women’s Academy.  She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in physical education.

A former softball player, Hall played first base and third base for the Hornets.  She is married to Michael Hall of Leeds, and they are the proud parents of one son, Michael Hall III.
