Biography
2014-15: Ryan was selected to the All-SWAC First team based on her total pin fall of 5,686 performance.
Not only were the Lady Hornets busy on the lanes, Ryan was inducted into the Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society, along with earning 2014 National Tenpins Coaches Association Academic All-American status.
She was also recognized as a National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association (NCBCA) Academic All-American.
Rounding off her academic achievements for the 2015 season Ryan was also recognized by the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) for her performance in the classroom as selections to the Academic All-NTCA Team.
2013-14: Selected as first team All-SWAC. After receiving freshman of the year during the 2012-13 season Ryan completed her sophomore season, she ranked second in the conference in total pinfall (5,427), seventh high average (247) and fourth average (193.8).
2012-13: SWAC Freshman of the Year; All-SWAC First Team performer.
Ryan held the highest average among all freshman bowlers and ranked third in the league among all bowlers with a SWAC average of 195.96. She bowled a game high 257 against Grambling State during the SWAC East Roundup in Jackson, Miss. at Fannin Lanes.
This is the second consecutive year Alabama State has had the SWAC bowling Freshman of the Year.
High School: Ryan was one of the city's top bowlers although her high school did not offer bowling as a sport.
She was a three year letter winner in volleyball and was the Defensive Player of the Year in her senior season at Oakwood High School.
Ryan won the 2012 Junior Masters in Kettering, Ohio in May. She also won the Ohio State girls' singles bowling title in 2010 and placed second in 2011.
Ryan was named captain of the Greater Dayton Area USBC All-Star Team in 2011 and in 2012. She also won the city All-Events Bowling title in 2012.
Ryan scored a game high of 279, a series high of 771, and averages a 207.
