Dante Tyson-Bey begins 12th season at Alabama State University.
He joined Alabama State as the head equipment manager in August, 2009. In this position, Tyson-Bey oversees the athletic equipment room and locker room facilities, issues and maintains team equipment, and supervises the management staff.
A 1995 graduate of Texas A&M-Texarkana with a degree in physical education, Tyson-Bey came to ASU after serving a two-year stint as the head equipment manager at Alcorn State.
Prior to working at Alcorn, he served as the head equipment manager for the Arena Football’s Grand Rapid Rampage. In addition, Tyson-Bey has worked on the equipment staffs of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, The Citadel and the Detroit Fury (Arena Football).
He is a member of the American Equipment Manager Association. He and his wife, Rosalind Tyson-Bey reside in Montgomery.
