Zachary Beckton came to Alabama State staff in February, 2026as assistant coach, in charge of coaching the nickel backs at Alabama State University
Prior to his current role at Alabama State, he coached at Georgia State University from January 2024 to February 2026, handling defensive recruiting and coached the corners while working on a master's degree.
Beckton spent one season as an operations assistant at Georgia Tech in 2023.
Beckton earned his associate's degree from Georgia Military Institute in general studies in 2019 and his bachelor's degree from Georgia State in sociology in 2023
