Former Alabama State quarterback Tarvaris Jackson will sign with the Seattle Seahawks, NFL.com reported Tuesday.

Jackson, a second-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2006 NFL Draft, played five seasons with the Vikings before his contract expired earlier this year.

With the NFL Lockout ending Monday, Jackson was free to negotiate with league teams.
