The Alabama State volleyball team (3-9) hits the road for a match in Atlanta, Ga. on Tuesday, Sept. 13. The Lady Hornets will face Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) School Clark-Atlanta at 6 p.m. EST.
The Lady Hornets hold a 6-2 advantage over the Panthers in the series score. In the 2010 season's contest that was played in Atlanta ASU defeated the Panthers 3-0.
Freshman Maya Bell continues to lead the Lady Hornets with 173 kills. Up front, three players has double-figure block totals, Erika Thompson leads the pack with 12, while Roseland Corneille and Alex Chace have 10 each.
The Lady Hornets posted a 1-2 record during the Nicholls State Tournament with a victory over Southwestern Athletic Conference foe Southern University. Clark enters tomorrow's contest with a 0-1 record as they were defeated by Brenau their last time out.
