"UAB is a very good team," Head Coach
Penny Lucas-White said. "I thought we did a lot of good things in this game, but they were able to get to everything and their height was a very good advantage for them tonight. It was good for us to get back on the court after we spent yesterday working on correcting some mistakes that we had been making over the past few games. We have some more work to do but we will get there."
The Lady Hornets will be back on the road to begin their second round of Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) action Saturday, Nov. 2, when they face perennial SWAC power Jackson State at 3 p.m. The two teams met in Montgomery back on Oct. 11 with the Lady Hornets winning 3-1.
