HOUSTON - The Alabama State soccer team has arrived in Houston, Texas. to compete against Arkansas Pine-Bluff at the Houston Amateur Sports Park in the Southwestern Athletic Conference Tournament on November 7. The match is slated for 3:00 p.m. ASU is the number one seed in the Eastern division; while Arkansas Pine Bluff represents the Western division as the number four seed.
"We are excited to continue postseason play in the conference tournament," Head Coach
Jodie Smith stated. "This year's championship is wide open and everyone is capable of winning. We are going to stay focused on one game at a time."
The Lady Hornets (12-6 overall/4-0 SWAC) were able to accomplish a history making regular season by winning 12 contests and having two players lead the conference in at least one category (points-

Alabama State hosted and defeated Jackson State University 2-1 on Senior Day to clinch the SWAC Eastern Division Championship.
