The Alabama State women's basketball team will return to the Dunn-Oliver Acadome after a four day road trip. The Lady Hornets will take on the Devilettes of Mississippi Valley State in a SWAC home opener, Saturday, Jan. 11. The ladies will tip off at 3 p.m.
"After coming off of this weekend's road games we feel good about the upcoming game," said head coach
Freda Freeman-Jackson. "Any time that Miss. Valley comes here we know that we are going to have to get our running shoes on. They play extremely hard and we know that we are going to have to get our defensive stance on. They shoot the ball extremely well and every player can shoot a three ball. We are going to have to play a solid man to man defense against them."
