COLUMBUS, OH. – The game got out of hand early as the Alabama State women's basketball team was blown out at Ohio State 118-61 on Friday night at Value City Arena.  Â
The Lady Hornets (1-7) trailed 70-27 at the break and failed to slow down the high-powered offense of the Buckeyes as seven Ohio State players reached double digits in scoring on the night.
Alabama State committed a season-high 31 turnovers while OSU shot 52 percent from the floor.Â

Zomoria Clark was a bright spot for ASU as the power forward notched her first double-double of the 2016-17 campaign by recording season best totals of 12 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and one block before fouling out of the game.Â
Clark shot 6-of-14 from the floor in 23 minutes of action.Â
Daniele Ewert scored 12 points off the bench while
Britney Wright contributed with nine points and eight rebounds.Â
Next, Alabama State will play at Mississippi State on Tuesday.Â
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
