up a win at two singlesCHATTANOOGA – The Alabama State women's tennis team went on the road to complete its regular season schedule and fell to Chattanooga by a 6-1 final tally.Â
The host Lady Mocs (12-6) came out of the gates quick winning the doubles point by taking all three doubles matches.

Chattanooga continued to keep the pressure on ASU (13-7) by winning five of the six singles matches to complete the win.

ASU's lone point came at two singles where
Marine Cartier was able to win a three-set match. After losing the first set 2-6, Cartier came back to take the second set 6-4 and carried the momentum into a third-set tie break which she won 10-7.

The Lady Hornets next match will be next week in New Orleans at the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Tournament. ASU will go into the tournament as the top seed based on their undefeated (7-0) record in conference play. The tournament will run Friday-Sunday, April 15-17.
