JACKSONVILLE, FL  – Joelle d'Entremont scored twice while Cami Jackson and Kirsten Reed each scored as the Alabama State women's soccer team was defeated 4-1 by host Jacksonville on Friday evening at Southern Oak Stadium.

The Lady Hornets'
Ariela Lewis roofed it into the top of the goal on an assist from
Aaliyah Lewis in the 86
th minute to get ASU (0-4) on the board.
It was her second goal of the season and 30
th of her career.Â
She now needs just one more assist to the join the exclusive 30-20 club among active players in NCAA Division I women's soccer, who have recorded at least 30 goals and 20 assists in their careers.Â
Aa. Lewis and two others are the only active players in the club.Â
The Dolphins (2-3) outshot the Lady Hornets 21-13 for the game including 15-5 for shots on goal.Â
During the first half, ASU was able to keep it close in terms of shot opportunities with JU holding a slim 10-9 shots advantage and an 8-4 edge in shots on goal.Â
Alabama State's other best chances to score came when Ar. Lewis fired a shot off the left side of the post.Â
Later,
Emily Fleming lifted a long ball just inside the 18-yard box to try to find Aa. Lewis.
As she was racing across the field, she collected it and fired quickly for a shot went wide of the net.Â
In the second half, Ar. Lewis pushed it down the far sideline and attempted to connect with Aa. Lewis on a cross, but it was broken up at the last moment.
Alabama State will next take on North Florida on Sunday at 11 a.m. in Jacksonville.  Â
