MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Alabama State University women's tennis team returns to action this weekend after a week-long break due to a pair of cancellations last weekend.
Alabama State (0-1) has not been on the court since a season-opening loss to Alabama back on January 15, after their matches last weekend against Southern Miss and Nicholls State were cancelled due to the weather in the state of Mississippi. The Lady Hornets will return to action this weekend as they play host team Georgia Southern on Saturday, followed by Savannah State on Sunday.
The match will be the season-opener for Georgia Southern as their matches last weekend were postponed. The matches will be the only matches for two weeks for the Lady Hornets, who will return to the courts at home on February 10.
