Alabama State (0-1) dropped the doubles point, dropping matches at one and three, while winning at number three doubles when the team of
Marija Blazevic and
Mirna Curcic defeated the Mercer team of Marie Mottet and Christie Cesarini, 7-5.

Mercer was able to pull away for the win by winning number two through five singles, with the Lady Hornets'
Marija Blazevic forcing her match to three sets before falling 6-4, 5-7. 5-10. Alabama State was able to pick up a win at number one singles when
Reka Szentes defeated Mercer's Celine Schepers 6-4, 6-3.
