CINCINATTI, Ohio | Alabama State returns to action Tuesday night with a road contest against Xavier at the Cintas Center.
Alabama State (1-8) is looking to end a three-game losing streak, including a hard-fought setback to UAB on Sunday. In that contest,
Jayla Crawford led the Lady Hornets with a team-high 13 points, while
Ayana Emmanuel and Shmya Ward each added 11 points.
Emmanuel leads Alabama State with 12.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per game, while
Shmya Ward leads the Lady Hornets with 7.0 rebounds and 7.9 rebounds per game.
Meanwhile, Xavier (7-2) fell short in their last outing, 79-61, against Cincinnati. A'riana Gray leads the Musketeers at 15.6 points and 10.8 rebounds per game, while Na'Teshia Owens averages 12.6 points per game.
