MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State will wrap up the regular season with a pair of matches against in-state opponents this week, facing Troy and Samford in non-conference action on the road.
Alabama State (10-6, 8-0 SWAC), the regular season conference champion, enters the match after dropping their last contest 4-2, to Chattanooga last week. On the season, the Lady Hornets are led
Lea Krajcovicova in singles play as she has accumulated a 10-2 record, including going 10-0 at number five and six singles combined. Meanwhile,
Reka Szentes is 8-2 on the season (7-2 at number one singles), while
Mirna Curcic is 8-5 (7-4 at number four singles) and
Marija Blazevic is 7-4 on the season in singles play.
Troy enters the contest after defeating Georgia State 4-3 in Sun Belt Conference action, while Samford earned a 6-1 victory over Chattanooga in SoCon action last week.
The match against Troy is scheduled for 3 pm on Tuesday and the match against Samford will start at 2 pm on Thursday, both on the road.
