MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State and Jackson State will tip off Monday evening at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome in a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) contest, dubbed "Show Your Hornet Pride" night.
The game is set for a 5:30 pm tip, with pregame beginning on the Hornets Sports Network at 5:15 pm.

LAST TIME OUT
- A trio of freshman scored in double figures as Alabama State fell to Grambling State, 80-72, in the SWAC opener.
- Ayana Emmanuel finished with a career-high 30 points, while Jayla Crawford added 18 points and Shmya Ward finished with 17 points and five rebounds
- Emmanuel leads the team in scoring at 13.3 ppg and Crawford is scoring 10.8 points per game
- Ward is third in the conference in rebounding at 6.9 per game
- Second in defensive rebounds (25.2)
SCOUTING THE LADY TIGERS
- The Lady Tigers fell short, 58-55, in their conference opener to Alabama A&M
- Kaisah Lucky recorded a team-high 20 points in the loss, while Marneisha Hamer added 10
- Hamer leads the Lady Tigers in scoring and rebounding at 15.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game
- Christinia Ellis is at 13.1 points and 4.0 rebounds per contest
SERIES HISTORY
- Jackson State leads the series, 41-36, since their first meeting back in 1982
- Jackson State won all three meetings last season, including a 69-50 win on March 1 in which Victoria Harvey recorded a career-high 14 rebounds in the loss
