Hornets open home portion of schedule this weekend

MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State opens the home portion of their schedule this weekend against Purdue-Fort Wayne, with first pitch scheduled for 6 pm Friday at the Wheeler-Watkins Baseball Complex.

The Alabama State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics wants every fan to enjoy the experience of being on the Alabama State campus and inside the Wheeler-Watkins Baseball Complex, and in doing so would like the fans to know the following to make the experience more enjoyable:
  • Tickets will be on sale for all home baseball games at the Wheeler-Watkins Baseball Complex, beginning with the home opener Friday, February 24;
  • Tickets are $5 the day of the game at the gate, with children five and under admitted free. Season tickets are on sale until March 11 for $35 (current basketball and/or football season ticket holders) and $50 (non-season ticket holders);
  • RAIN OUT POLICY – If a game is rained out and a ticket was purchased, you may present that ticket at the ticket window for the next game in series. If a game is rained out and will not be made up, the ticket purchased can be brought to the ticket window and exchanged for a ticket to a game of your choice;
  • Entrance to the Wheeler-Watkins Baseball Complex will be the gate located down the left field line, on Fifth Street;
  • No smoking is allowed inside the Wheeler-Watkins Baseball Complex, or on the Alabama State University campus;
  • No pets or coolers will be allowed inside the Wheeler-Watkins Baseball Complex at any time;
  • There is no parking on Gerard Street – the street directly behind the complex – and handicapped parking is available in the main parking lot on a first come-first serve basis;
  • The Clear Bag Policy will be in effect for all home games at the Wheeler-Watkins Baseball Complex, with diaper bags allowed at the entry point.
