PINE BLUFF, Ark. | For the third consecutive season, Alabama State finished the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) portion undefeated with a 4-0 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff Saturday afternoon.
Alabama State (9-8, 8-0 SWAC) picked up the doubles point with 6-0 wins at number two and three doubles to take a 1-0 overall lead. They picked up three wins in singles play to seal the win, picking up wins by
Marija Blazevic (number three),
Chloe Kabamba (number four) and
Urska Velec (number five) – all straight set 6-0, 6-0 victories.
