MONTGOMERY, Ala | Former Alabama State defensive back
Kurron Ramsey became the latest Hornet to sign a professional contract, signing with the BC Lions Football Club of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Ramsey, a native of Brandywine (Md.) attended a workout with the Washington Redskins in 2019 before signing with the Lions this offseason. During his career with Alabama State, Ramsey recorded 173 total tackles and recorded 13 pass breakups in 43 games. He also recorded a pair of interceptions and a pair of fumble recoveries.
