MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State returns to action Tuesday at the Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center, beginning a seven-match homestand against SIUE.
The match with SIUE is set for 1:30 pm Tuesday afternoon, and is the first home match for Alabama State (4-5, 3-0 SWAC) since dropping a match to Mississippi State back on February 16. Following the non-conference match with SIUE, Alabama State returns to conference play where they have won 34 consecutive matches against Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) competition.
The Lady Hornets host Mississippi Valley State Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 pm, before a day off leads into the SWAC Pod II hosted by Alabama State. In the SWAC Pod, Alabama State hosts Alcorn State (March 13 at 2 pm), Prairie View A&M (March 14 at 2 pm) and Grambling State (March 15 at 2 pm).
The home stand ends with a non-conference match against Eastern Illinois a week from Tuesday (March 17) at 1 pm.
Admission is free to all home matches.
