MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State has announced that their women's basketball game against new Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) opponent Bethune-Cookman on Saturday, January 29 will be moved up from 2 pm to 12 noon.
The game, originally scheduled for a 2 pm tip, will be moved up to 12 noon. The two teams have met just twice all-time, with the Wildcats winning the first meeting 80-61 on December 28, 2002, followed by the Hornets taking the 56-42 win the next year on December 13, 2003.
In lieu of a normal home doubleheader, the men's programs will face off in the inaugural Bridge Builders Classic, held in Mobile inside the Mitchell Center on the campus of South Alabama.
