MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State looks to bounce back from a loss on Saturday night, hosting Mississippi Valley State on Valentine's Day and in the annual Breast Cancer Awareness game.
The game is scheduled to tip at 8 pm and will be shown via the Hornet Sports Network. Just a reminder, Alabama State is a mask-mandatory campus and a negative COVID test within 72 hours (except for a home test) is required for entry into the area. Tickets will be on sale at the Ticket Office located at ASU Stadium.
The two teams met earlier this year in Itta Bena with the Hornets coming out on top ending a 15-game road losing streak that extended back into the 2020-21 season. Alabama State finds itself in a tie for sixth place with five different teams heading into the game including Jackson State, Bethune-Cookman, Alabama A&M, and Prairie View A&M.
