MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Jordan O'Neal's double-double led four players in double figures as the Alabama State University men's basketball team earn an 80-66 win over the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Wednesday at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome.
O'Neal scored 18 points and collected 18 rebounds as the third Hornet to post a double-double this season.
Isaiah Range added 16 points followed by
Alex Anderson with 15 and
Eric Coleman with 10.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Alabama State jumped out to an early 12-3 lead following a pair of free throws by Jordan O'Neal just over 5:00 minutes into the game.
- Braham Harris made two free throws to cut the Hornets' lead to 16-14 at the midway point of the first half.
- The Golden Lions used an 8-0 run to take a 22-21 lead on a Zach Reinhart 3-pointer with 8:11 to go before halftime.
- A 7-2 run put the Hornets back in front 25-31 after an Eric Coleman 3-pointer with 2:48 left in the first half.
- The first half saw three ties and four lead changes as Alabama State held a 37-36 halftime lead.
- A TJ Madlock dunk and an Eric Coleman 3-pointer pushed the Hornets' lead to 42-36 just under one minute into the second half.
- Range's 3-pointer extended Alabama State's lead to 49-41 at the 16:00 mark before a 9-0 run put UAPB up 50-49 three minutes later.
- The Hornets claimed a 65-55 lead following a Madlock dunk and two Alex Anderson free throws with 4:31 left in the contest.
- A Roland McCoy layup grew the lead to 12-points at 67-55 with under four minutes left in the second half.
