LORMAN, Miss. | Alabama State dropped a 3-1 decision to Alcorn State in Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) action on Friday night.
The Braves were able to jump out to a 1-0 halftime lead before Alabama State tied the match up early in the second half. Alcorn State was able to put the match away with two goals in the final 20 minutes.
Lauryn Starwood recorded another double-digit effort in goal with 12 saves.
