MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State University women's basketball team outscored Bethune-Cookman 9-6 in the third overtime to claim a 74-71 win on Monday night at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome.
Jayla Crawford scored 23 points, including sinking two free throws to give the Lady Hornets a 74-71 lead in the final seconds of the third overtime.
Ayana Emmanuel followed with 20 points and 10 rebounds for her third double-double and made two go-ahead free throws in the third OT.
