HOW IT HAPPENED
- Alexia Denby hit a solo home run to give ASU a 1-0 lead in the first.
- The Delta Deveilettes scored four runs in the second to take a 4-1 lead.
- Alabama State scored nine runs over the second and third innings to take a 10-4 lead.
- Madison Myers and Jaeda Gardner had RBI singles and Alex Preston drove in two runs with a single in the second
- Denby highlighted the five-run third with a three-run round-tripper while Jaeda Gardner got another run home on a single to left field.
- MVSU/plated a run in the fifth before the Lady Hornets put up two runs in the fifth and three in the sixth to end the game.
- Denby capped the game with a three-run home run in the sixth.

- Oliva Brown (4-0) yielded five unearned runs on four hits with three strikeouts to earn the win for the Lady Hornets.
- Glenenabah Tsosie was touched up for 15 runs on 18 hits with a strikeout to take the loss.
