- Jack Hay doubled and scored on a Cristian Lopez single to give the Hornets a 1-0 lead in the second inning.
- Caleb Johnson doubled and scored on a Michael Dallas base-knock tied the game 1-1 in the top of the third.
- Randy Flores walked and came home on a wild pitch to pu the Hornets ahead 2-1 in the seventh.
- Jayvon Hernandez singled and scored on a Brennan North single to tie the game 2-2 in the eighth.
- Jack Hay and Tyler McIntosh walked and scored on a Jayden Sloan single to left for a 4-2 Hornets' lead in the bottom of the eighth.
- Luis Rodriguez sat the Gamecocks down in order in the ninth to seal the win.
