INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. | The NCAA's release today of the 2021-22 Academic Progress Report (APR) once again reveals outstanding performance by the Alabama State University's athletics programs.
 
The APR accounts for eligibility, retention and graduation of all student-athletes on scholarship, and provides a measure of each team's academic performance.

Four sports programs—women's basketball, women's bowling, women's tennis and women's volleyball —earned perfect single year marks of 1000.
 
The women's basketball program led their category of Southwestern Athletic Conference as compared to the MEAC schools.

Additionally, 17-of-18 sports earned a 930 score or better. Alabama State sponsors 18 sports.
