GULFPORT, Miss. | Kyndall DeRamus's RBI single in the bottom of the seventh lifted Alabama State University softball to a 1-0 win over Alcorn State University in the first round of the SWAC Softball Tournament on Tuesday at the Gulfport Sportsplex.

HOW IT HAPPENED    
	- The game was scoreless until the bottom of the seventh.  
- Jasmine Rogers reached on a fielder's choice with two outs and was replaced by Zoe Disroe. 
- DeRamus singled past second base that allowed Disroe to come around and score from second for the walk off win.  
 
IN THE CIRCLE    
	- Bailey Greenlee (19-8) tossed her ninth complete game to earn the win. Greenlee scsatted three hits and struck out four over 7.0 innings. 
- Kiri Parker (6-9) took the loss allowing a run on five hits with four walks and two strikeouts for Alcorn.
