Lady Hornets fall to Jacksonville State

MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Jacksonville State used a late first-half goal to defeat Alabama State 1-0 in the final non-conference game of the season for the Lady Hornets Thursday night at the ASU Soccer Complex.

The Gamecocks were able to get on the board in the 39th minute and held off Alabama State. Lauryn Starwood recorded 10 saves for Alabama State, giving her 75 saves on the season which is near the top in the NCAA. The double-figure effort from Starwood is the fifth time this season the junior has achieved the feat.
