TROY, Ala. | Alabama State dropped a 4-1 non-conference decision to in-state foe Troy at the Troy Soccer Complex on Sunday night.
Alabama State (1-4-1) was stymied by the Troy (5-1) defense most of the night, being held to two shots with one of those off the foot of
Iliana Casiano for a late goal. Meanwhile,
Lauryn Starwood recorded 10 saves on the night, giving her 49 saves in six matches (8.16 saves per game).

- 60:11 – Dolce Villaflor scored off her right foot to the bottom left off an assist from Jordan Stack, Troy 2-0.
- 65:32 – Riley Rojahn scored to the bottom left with her right foot, Troy 3-0.
- 71:03 – Villaflor scored her second goal of the match on an assist from Riley, Troy 4-0.
- 80:00 – Iliana Casiano scored her second goal of the season with her right foot to the bottom right on an assist from Emma Hemphill, 4-1 Troy.
