BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Rebecca Bernadin and Abdiqadir Mohamed swept the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Runners of the Week, announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Bernadin helped Alabama State finish in the top half of the field at the Foothills Invitational this past week in a meet hosted by Jacksonville State. She finished 45th overall with a time of 15:53.50 in the 4k.
 
Meanwhile, Mohamed helped Alabama State finish in the top half of the field in the men's race at the Foothills Invitational last week, He finished 74th overall with a time of 16:53.90.
