Kareem Keye was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference's Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 12, 2024.

Keye came off the bench to toss four touchdown passes that erased a 14-0 deficit in a 54-17 win over Mississippi Valley State. The Adamsville, Ala., native completed 14-of-21 passes for 326 yards and no interceptions.

Alabama State has the week off before returning to action in the Magic City Classic on Oct. 26 against Alabama A&M. The game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. at Legion Field in Birmingham, Ala.
