Bama State Women's Basketball Announces 2024-25 Schecule

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Alabama State University women's basketball team announced its 2024-25 schedule that includes nine Power 4 opponents and traditional SWAC rivals.
  
The slate includes 12 home match ups starting with the season opener on Monday, Nov. 4, versus cross-town rival Faulkner University and Stillman College on Wednesday, Nov. 6. Both match ups will tip off at 6:00 p.m.

Following the opening weekend, the Lady Hornets will battle nine Power 4 schools on the road includes Mississippi State (Nov. 13), Virginia (Nov. 20), Ole Miss (Nov.  30), Oklahoma (Dec. 6), Oklahoma State (Dec. 8) Auburn (Dec. 21), and Florida (Dec. 28). The Lady Hornets will face two Power 4 schools in the Emerald Coast Classic on Dec. 24-26 in Detin, Fla.).

Alabama State hosts its final non-conference home game against the University of North Alabama on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 6 p.m.

The SWAC schedule is equally demanding, with the Hornets facing traditional rivals Mississippi Valley State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Jackson State, and Alcorn State. The team will also compete in the Bridge Builders Classic against Alabama A&M in Mobile.

All home games will be played at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome in Montgomery, Ala. Single-home games start at 6 p.m., with doubleheader home games set for 1 p.m.
