ITTA BENA, Miss. --The Alabama State volleyball team recorded a .425 attack percentage on the way to a 3-0 win (25-14, 25-13, 25-12) over the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devilettes Sunday on the road at Harrison HPER Complex.
The conference victory improved Alabama State's record to 9-18 overall and 6-8 in SWAC play.
Kaylen Hines finished with eight kills on the day to lead the Lady Hornets offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .615. Taylor Williams also pitched in with five in the contest and received nine digs from Breanna Swanson to lead them defensively.

ASU opened its biggest lead of the stanza, 12 points, to close out the set. The ASU offense also got a boost from three aces in the stanza. The Lady Hornet's front row had a solid defensive performance, blocking four MVSU attacks in the stanza.
