MONTGOMERY, Ala. | The Alabama State Women's tennis team swept the University of Montevallo 7-0 on Tuesday at the Olean Black Tennis Center. 

Alabama State improved to 2-4 on the season.

The Lady Hornets captured the the doubles point by sweeping of all three doubles matches. The Lizaveta Demchenko and Ena Arnautovic won at No. 1 doubles while Madalena Andrade and Bea Acena teamed up to win at No. 2 doubles. Timothee and Carmelle Vial were  victorious at No. 3 doubles. 

Alabama State kept the momentum going by winning all six singles matches to earn the win. 

labama State plays Bethune-Cookman on Thursday, Feb. 15 to open the SWAC Pod 1 at the Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center.
