NEW ORLEANS, La. | Sahra Bouchaala win at No. 2 singles seal Alabama State's 4-3 win over Florida A&M in the SWAC Women's Tennis Championship on Sunday at the Pepsi Center. 

The Lady Hornets claimed their seventh SWAC Women's Tennis title and theirr first since 2021.

Sahra Bouchaala was named the SWAC Tournament MVP and was joined on the All-Tournament team by Andrade and Bea Acena.

Florida A&M swep the doubles to take a 1-0 lead into singles. 

Andrade, Carmelle, and Acena captured wins as No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 to tie the match at 3-3.

Bouchaala won 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 to clinch the match.
