MONTGOMERY Ala. -- Alabama State got a hat trick from Rachel Mull in a 4-1 win over Faulkner Sunday (Sept. 15) at home at the ASU Soccer Complex.
Alabama St. improved to 2-4-0 on the season following the victory.
How it Happened
Alabama St. grabbed a 1-0 lead when Mull scored her seventh goal of the season in the 32nd minute, assisted by Lykke Johnsen-Morken.
The Lady Hornets went up 2-0 on a goal from Mull in the 37th minute.
Faulkner narrowed the gap to 2-1 on Cassie Jackson's 50th-minute goal.
The Lady Hornets went ahead 3-1 with a 50th-minute goal from Mull and Emma Goetz provided the assist.
ASU grabbed a 4-1 advantage on Johnsen-Morken's goal in the 53rd minute of the season. Neither team scored again and the game ended 4-1.
