MONTGOMERY, Ala . | Alabama State Unviersity women's soccer came up short against Grambling 1-0 Sunday (Sept. 29) at the ASU Soccer Complex.
The loss dropped Alabama St.'s record to 3-5-0 overall and 1-1-0 in SWAC action.
How it Happened
After the Lady Tigers took a 1-0 lead into the half, Alabama St. kept Grambling scoreless the rest of the way. Lauryn Starwood led Alabama St. with five saves. The Lady Hornets recorded 10 shots in the loss, six of them on goal. Alabama St. faced 12 Grambling shots, six of them on goal.
