Lady Hornets Tennis Falls in SWAC Opener at Jackson State

JACKSON, Miss. | The Alabama State University women's tennis team fell to Jackson State University 4-2 on Monday at the JSU Tennis Center. 

Alabama State fell to 3-7 overall and 0-1 in the SWAC wile the Tigers improved to 5-7 overall and 3-0 in conference play.

Jackson State won the doubles point with wins at courts one and three to build a 1-0 lead going into singles. 

Kesmat El Tawil and Cleanne Pickel won on courts four and five but JSU captured wins on courts two, three and six to close out the win.
