TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Alabama State University softball mustered only two hits in a 5-1 loss to the Florida A&M University in the series finale on Saturday.
Pousson went the distance in distance, allowing five runs on eight hits with two strikeouts to suffer the loss in the circle for the Hornets.
Offensively, the Hornets were paced by Frank, who went 0-for-0 on the day with a walk and an RBI.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hornets put runs on the scoreboard first, starting the scoring in the second inning. Sophomore Makenzie Owens came across to score the lone run of the inning for Alabama State and get them on the board. The Hornets were unable to hold the lead, as Florida A&M scored five times over the remaining five innings to grab the 5-1 win.
